Clear your fines and help a good cause
Before you finish
your studies this semester, please ensure that you return all your library
resources (books, DVD’s, CD’s and magazines) by 29 November, and take advantage
of our offer to clear any fines that you have.
All Libraries in
Western Sydney will offer an amnesty for students who owe Library fines if they
have returned all outstanding library items, called Food for Fines,
during November.
Instead of paying a
$10 fine for each late Library book, you will be able to donate 2 cans of food
for each $10 fine.
Please ensure your
tins are in date, free from dents, and weigh at least 400g.
The fines
will then be waived from your Library record, and the food
donated to the Salvation Army’s Christmas Appeal.
For more details
please contact your Library by phone on 9865 1119
Please tell your
friends and classmates!

ESOL Collection
As part of our re-arrangement & weeding project last holidays some sections of the library collection have been moved.
The ESOL text books remain with the main collection.
That is on the shelves according to their call number (420-428).
The Easy Readers / Literacy Collection has moved. These are now shelved at the front on the library (near the circulation desk), beyond the reference and fiction items. You will find them on the last row of shelves near the red computer section.

Harmony Day
The Library celebrated Harmony Day on 21 March 2013. Harmony Day is a day of cultural respect for everyone who calls Australia home – from the traditional owners to those who have come from many countries around the world. The event involved students walking into the library and giving a short speech about their country of origin and what Australia means to them. This was followed by cake.
